Information You Submit
A name, location, or other query entered in an embedded search tool is sent to the third-party company that operates that tool. We do not store or log those search terms on our own systems. The provider’s policy controls its handling of the query.
If you send an email or use a contact form, we keep the message and contact details as needed to respond. We do not share a message beyond our organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure.

- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, when available
- Date and time stamps
Cookies may be used to measure how visitors use the site. Browser controls can reject or remove cookies, although some functions may then behave differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected information supports the operation and improvement of the resource.
- Keep pages available and responsive
- Pass search requests to the selected partner tool
- Learn which release-record resources visitors use
- Diagnose errors and other technical problems

Privacy Beyond This Site
Links lead to Lincoln County records offices, Nevada corrections sources, release and supervision portals, federal locators, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the destination’s privacy policy applies.
Some advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across multiple sites and select targeted advertisements. That processing occurs on the partner’s systems, not on ours.
Who May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be handled by a limited group of service providers or authorities.
- Search partners that process submitted queries
- Analytics services that measure site use
- Advertising networks that deliver or assess ads
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Our Security Approach
We use standard safeguards intended to protect information and maintain the site. No internet-connected service can be guaranteed breach-proof, however. We cannot promise absolute security for data sent online or kept in connected systems.
Visitors Younger Than 18
This resource is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a minor submitted personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on the law that applies, a visitor may ask to exercise these rights:
- Receive a copy of personal data we hold
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of personal data
- Opt out of certain forms of processing
Use the Contact Us page to submit a request. We may need enough information to verify the requester and identify the relevant data.

We may revise this privacy notice as the site, service providers, or legal requirements change. An updated version takes effect when posted here with a new effective date.
