Official Lincoln County Contacts

The local jail and Sheriff use the same Justice Way address and telephone line. The Sheriff states that its non-emergency and detention telephone access is answered around the clock.

Requests for an existing booking, release, movement, or booking-photo record can be sent by email, mail, or delivered in person. The county form states a five-business-day response framework and lists extraordinary work at $35 per staff hour. That rate is not a flat charge for every request, so ask for an estimate.

Choose the route that matches the question:

  • For a named released person or county record, begin with the home search and records path.
  • For supervision after release, use Probation & Parole.
  • For same-day county departures, see Jail Releases: 24 Hours, which explains the county’s no-feed fallback.
  • For a calculated date or automated alert, use Projected Release or VINELink Inmate Search.
  • For one custody location, use the facility pages listed below.
  • For a sentenced Nevada prisoner, use NDOC’s statewide offender search.
  • For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator and the responsible federal office.
