Pioche Conservation Camp Release Routes
Pioche Conservation Camp is operated by the Nevada Department of Corrections with Nevada Division of Forestry conservation and fire crews. It is not a county jail. Its population consists of state offenders, and the sentencing county does not control the institution in which an offender is placed. Someone convicted in Lincoln County can be housed anywhere in NDOC.
A departure from PCC can mean parole, mandatory release, discharge, transfer to another NDOC institution, or movement into residential confinement. Parole ends prison confinement but continues Board jurisdiction and P&P supervision. Discharge means the identified sentence has ended with no community supervision required for that sentence. Transfer is continued prison custody. Nevada states that residential confinement remains inmate status even when P&P supervises the placement.
| PCC status change | What it means | Record owner |
|---|---|---|
| Another institution | NDOC custody continues after transfer | NDOC booking and location history |
| Parole | Prison release into supervision | NDOC, Parole Board, and P&P |
| Residential confinement | Controlled placement while still an inmate | NDOC and P&P |
| Discharge or expiration | The identified sentence is complete | NDOC release record |
Confirm Pioche Conservation Camp Release
The NDOC Offender Search is the correct first online route. Search by offender ID when available because the ID avoids most same-name mistakes. Otherwise search by first and last name, using the documented percent-sign wildcard if needed. Compare the offender number, middle name, birth information, aliases, photograph when available, sentence rows, and institution before deciding a record matches.
- Search the exact NDOC offender ID. If it is unknown, use verified name variants and the wildcard.
- Open the matching profile and note the current institution or inactive status, offender ID, and search date.
- Review parole and release data. Do not equate a parole eligibility date or Board grant with actual departure.
- Use the official release download to locate the offender ID, offender-book ID, release date, and raw release description.
- Request the NDOC release or discharge record if a formal or certified account is needed.
The Lincoln County released inmate search compares this state route with the separate Sheriff, court, notification, and federal paths.
Pioche Conservation Camp Release Search Fields
NDOC’s portal links Demographic, Alias, Booking, Parole, and Release data. The separate release file is valuable because an inactive profile may remain searchable while the release event is easier to identify through the raw download. Join records by offender ID and offender-book ID, not by name alone.
| Field or file | Use | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Offender ID | Exact NDOC identity | Must belong to the correct person |
| Name and wildcard | Find possible profiles | Requires careful identity comparison |
| Institution | Shows a current NDOC placement | A changed institution may be transfer |
| Parole data | Shows state supervision events | Parole is not discharge |
| Release file | Date and raw release description | Portal data are not a certified record |
The sentence table uses labels such as Sent. PED, Sent. MPR, Sent. PEXD, and Sent. RRD. NDOC does not present a plain field called “Projected Release Date.” Without a published data dictionary, keep those abbreviations intact. Eligibility or calculated dates can change after credit updates, amended judgments, sentence aggregation, Board action, or detainers.
The official NDOC search page displays the ID and name inputs plus its raw-data warning.
The captured form supports identification and discovery. NDOC expressly warns that the public portal is not an official record.
Pioche Conservation Camp Release Records
The institution can address current facility questions, while NDOC’s central records routes handle offender-history and public-record needs. Keep each phone number tied to its stated purpose. The offender-search portal lists Family Services for offender questions, and the public-record office handles formal requests.

A focused request should provide the offender’s name, NDOC number, date range, release and reception history sought, and whether a certified copy is needed. Ask for an estimate. A request may seek paper, electronic, certified, or in-person inspection, but disclosure limits still apply.
Pioche Conservation Camp Release Profile
The official Pioche Conservation Camp page identifies PCC as a male conservation camp. It states a capacity of 196 and capability to increase to 238. Those figures describe the facility, not the number of releases or the current population on any specific date.
The official PCC profile shows its identity, location, work function, and capacity.
The image grounds the facility details, but it does not show a PCC-only release list. Released and transferred offenders must be checked through statewide NDOC data.
Pioche Conservation Camp Parole Release
The Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners decides parole matters. NDOC records the prison release event, and the Nevada Division of Parole and Probation handles field supervision. A monthly Board action showing a grant is not proof that the person left PCC that day. Placement verification, a detainer, or other lawful custody can delay departure.
For a parole path, first establish identity through the NDOC offender number. Next, review the Board’s monthly action report and its legend. Then locate the NDOC release event. Contact the current P&P route for Lincoln County when publicly releasable supervision information is needed. Lincoln County is assigned to Northern Command and the Ely office.
- Eligibility
- A date or condition allowing consideration, not proof of release.
- Parole
- Release from prison into continuing supervision.
- Discharge
- Completion of the identified sentence without supervision needed for it.
- Absconder
- A supervised person alleged to have left required oversight; current warrant status must be verified.
Pioche Conservation Camp Release Alerts
Nevada’s current automated notification system is Nevada S.A.V.E. VINE search and notifications ended in August 2025. S.A.V.E. can search by full or partial name or offender ID and can provide custody or supervision alerts by supported channels. It is supplemental, not an official NDOC release record.
A missing S.A.V.E. result is inconclusive. The service says people no longer in custody may not appear, and data update periodically. A “released” alert can also reflect movement to another authority. Confirm the event through NDOC or the institution, especially when transfer, parole placement, or another hold is possible.
Note: Keep the offender ID and registration confirmation, and verify every automated alert with the agency that owns the custody event.
Pioche Conservation Camp Release History
PCC was established in 1980 as Nevada’s first rural conservation camp. It coordinates year-round community projects and wildland-firefighting crews with the Nevada Division of Forestry. That history helps identify the institution. It does not establish any individual’s crew assignment, eligibility, classification, or release date.
The same-town setting creates a distinctive records problem. Pioche Conservation Camp is on Hardtimes Road under NDOC. Lincoln County Detention Center is on Justice Way under the Sheriff. A search should begin with the agency and identifier, not merely the word “Pioche.” County booking numbers belong to the jail episode. NDOC offender IDs belong to the state sentence.
Pioche and County Releases
A person released from Lincoln County Detention Center may have bonded out, completed local custody, or moved to another custodian. The Sheriff’s booking/release record and court file are the core sources. A person leaving PCC follows NDOC release, parole, supervision, and official-record channels instead.
The distinction remains important after transfer. Lincoln County has no authority over a person once NDOC accepts state custody. Likewise, NDOC cannot certify when the county jail door opened before commitment. When the two custody episodes meet, retain both records: the county transfer timestamp and the state reception or booking entry.
A court judgment and an NDOC record also serve different purposes. The judgment states the sentence imposed in the criminal case. NDOC calculates sentence dates, applies lawful credits, records movements, and posts the release event. The Parole Board decides discretionary parole when Nevada law permits it. None of those records should be substituted for the others when the timing or legal basis matters.
If the state profile appears inactive or discharged, correlate the offender ID and offender-book ID with the release file. A matching name is not enough. Request the official release or discharge history when documentary proof is required, and preserve NDOC’s raw release description instead of translating an unfamiliar code into a different event. A discharge on one state sentence does not rule out a later booking or another jurisdiction’s custody.
